H1N1 Information

Regarding H1N1

The Progressive Workshop has taken steps to help prevent the spread of flu – particularly H1N1 at the facility.

Hand sanitizer has been made available in all areas and staff and trainees have been directed to use hand washing procedures, covering nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing, etc. as directed in publications from the Department of Health, CDC, etc.

In addition, individuals are to remain at home if they are ill and to remain there until they are “fever free” for 24 hours – without the use of medication.  (Clients should call in to report off work.)

Individuals becoming ill at work are to report to their supervisor or program manager and they will be sent home as soon as practical.

A procedure is in place to notify all staff and clients of changes to Workshop schedules should that become necessary.
